Google Analytics is one of the most used metrics tools in the market and there are at least 29 million websites (and now apps too with the new property) using GA to measure traffic and app usage data. So if you don’t have an account yet it’s pretty simple to get one and here is the how-to:
Firstly, you will need a Google account and if you don’t have one you can create here.
After you log in go to https://analytics.google.com and click in Start measuring.

Account setup
Fill in your account details, hit next, and create a property. Your GA account can have one or more properties and these properties will contain the app/website data that you connect with. After you create a property, GA will generate a code snippet that you can use in your app and/or website.

Google Analytics 4 is the default option when you create a new property, so if you want to work with the older Universal version just click on Hide advanced options and check the box Create a Universal Analytics property.
In the last step you will give some info about your business, check the terms and conditions and all set!!
